Thread: Help Needed In Configuring BELKIN N150

Purchased a New Modem Today,Belkin N150.I have a BB 750UL Plan.

Ok,Going with the modem.
Connected the Cables as Mentioned.
Connected the Modem to PC using ETHERNET.
Connected to Internet.
Everything Ok till now (with some problems offcourse)


Problem 1:
As Mentioned in the manual the amber light on the modem would turn green when the internet is connected,but in my case it solid amber even now,when i m surfing the net using the same modem

Problem 2:
To Troubleshoot the problem,i tried to interact with the modem configuratn using 192.168.1.2 the default router config panel and found a strange thing. Even when i m connected to internet the modem config showed i m not connected

Problem 3:
I had a UTSTARCOM modem earlier,which stored password in bridge mode and then i din't have to connect to net manually everytym i start my pc.it used to get Connected Automatically.
How do i configure Belkin the same Way ? plz Mention Exact Steps

Problem 4 :
My CellPhone detects Wifi of Belkin but is not able to surf net through it.Earlier i had a ITI modem too (Wifi Modem of BSNL ) and have surfed the net using it. But i m unable to do so using BELKIN even when the correct Network Password is entered.AFAIK,it requires bridging when i mentioned i m unable to do in problem 3.

Any Further Information required would be provided.

Plz Help me

ADSL modem
Mention make /model/ number.
Connect in "Always On" PPPoE mode
( USERID/PW stored/entered in WAN page of modem )
Enable DHCP ( usually in LAN page)
give range say 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.10
Enable UpNp if available.

BelkinsN150:_______________ provide number.
(wifi router or 3-in 1 ADSL modem +4lanport +wifi router?)
