Default When will my plan get changed?

I requested for a plan change on 1-9-2011 at 12.00PM.

When I asked them, they said they are going to change it today itself.

Is this true?... When will my plan get changed?

If given an application then it gets changed within 15 minutes.

    Hello,

I don't think it is going to change in 15 min.

But I think that it is going to change from tomorrow 12.00 AM

    Right?

The bolded part is what most people fall prey for. People expect plan changes to get active by 12 mid night. But it never happens. If you are currently on a limited bandwidth plan, you should be very cautious (especially if you are switching to unlimited plan). I have seen people complaining after getting huge bills assuming plan changed on 12.00 am. Check the postpaid orders page of your portal and make sure that plan is provisioned before going easy on the download button.

Well, it's the minimum time for any plan to get changed whatsoever. It depends upon the punctuality of the BSNL personnel.

I called to the customer care and asked ... When t will happen?

They said that you will have to either call them or check your Usage in website.

There comes a problem again. The BSNL people who came to my house to install the connection did not give me the username and password?
    How to know it?

How do you check the usage ? You need your 14 digit portal ID to access data.bsn.in. Password is usually password. If you do not have it already, call the broadband section. They keep it in their records, just two minutes business to get it.

For other options, check the link in post no. 4

    @ndevs

check this link ."Usage details" below.
If there is a speed variation, ( if the plan change involved say 2 Mbps to 256 Kbps) in your download or surfing or viewing videos etc, the plan change is effected.

Probably you have to register in selfcare portal/(use IE browser) to check Plan change.Usage details etc.ID will be your own and PW will be sent by email to you. ( allow one week's time )

You have not mentioned the plan details fromPlan A to Plan B
( or if NU unlimited is allowed U/L plan etc ), .

    Better to wait and confirm.
