Exclamation ROUTER needed for UT300R2U! Best buy?

    Hi,

I'm getting a router this weekend, probably even tomorrow. I have UT300R2U modem, and I need wireless to sync ipad.

Which router should I buy? Can you please suggest a few, along with their drawbacks? Budget is around 1000 to 2000 INR.

All wifi routers carry guarantee, for about one or three years.
I am using Netgear wgr614V9 for past two years without any problem.
Cost will be around Rs 1500/=

    Essebebe, thank you for assitance

I bought a Linksys WRT120N for 1450 INR... Setup went fine too. But the warranty is just 5 months. I read your post about Netgear warranty now. But anyway, i thought 5 months is just too less.

essebebe, I had no problem yesterday with it! But this morning when i tried using ipad again, it didn't work... I tried to setup again, but when it asks for the existing router or gateway user name and password, admin and admin doesn't work as id and pass. "Incorrect login info. Continue without entering id and pass".. So, when i continue it.. I tick "I want to keep existing router and use both of them" .. another option is, "yes, I'm replacing existing router".. But its a modem.. so i chose to keep both.

Next, it guides me through connection.. I did the same way i did yesterday. It says, waiting for the router and finally i get this message. "Cisco Setup Wizard requires your new router to be configured with the default username and password. Error323: Could not Acesses new router or gateway ".. Follow these steps.
    1. Restore factory defaults.
    2. Exit program.
    3. Eject the CD.
    4. Restart PC.
    5. Reinsert CD.
... Hmm I did the 4th option and tried the set up agian. But it didn't work..

Essebebe, What i don't understand is that right now i'm connected through router on my desktop. In ipad, its connected, but there is no network even if signal is excellent.

Is there any software to manage the network connection? The default one is: Network Magic, but I didn't like it. Windows7 says it wasn't properly installed and all that. When i try to open after installation(even not complete), it exits.

    LOL!

I don't know how it worked, and everything is managed by "network magic" trial version from cisco.
