Thread: Internet not connected

HI,

Initially my net connection works fine.. I was in chat with my friend. in between the chat, it disconneted.. after that my net connection not worked.. but in modem, the DSL indicator is ON without blinking....

This happens frequently in my machine..

Is it because of Virus?

Mention your modem/model/number. ( or select from links below)
Mode of connection :
dialup ( enter userid/pw in system window )
PPPoE ( userid/PW enntered/stored in WAN Page of modem )
Can you make changes in your modem ?
Report from Statistics ADSL data Mod mode/snr/attn/synch speed/RATE.

1. When this happened, where you able to browse ? Which client were you using ? Did it show offline ?

2. How do you restore the net connection for further use ? Restart PC ? Restart modem ? Or any other method ?

3. What was the status of " internet " light ?
