    Default Please Help! How to know if my plan is changed?

    Hello,

    I was a Home 500 C customer and I given a written application yesterday to change my plan to Unlimited 500 and they said that it will be changed yesterday itself.

    The Current speed is 2Mbps for the Home 500 C plan.
    But Unlimited 500 has only 512Kbps speed.

    So, I think my plan is not changed yet.

    How to know if my plan is changed?

    I logged in to data.bsnl.in

    but how to know my current plan and if my plan is changed?
    I checked Postpaid Orders. But after entering the telephone number and service user id , It says "Sorry, No records found."

    Please help me.

    I checked Postpaid Orders. But after entering the telephone number and service user id , It says "Sorry, No records found."

    No need to enter service user ID. Simply enter telephone no. in the prescribed format ie, 484#2233456 and hit " search order ". If nothing works, call broadband section of your exchange and ask them to confirm.

    The Current speed is 2Mbps for the Home 500 C plan.
    But Unlimited 500 has only 512Kbps speed.

    Speed on UL 499 is 256 Kbps not 512 Kbps.

    Sorry , I changed my plan to BB Home Rural Combo ULD 500.

    The speed is 512 kbps.

    And thanks ... As you have said I typed my ph. number and left user id blank.

    I can only see that my Home 500 C plan is provisioned.

    What is this?

    As I mentioned in the other thread, did you check with exchange about availability of Rural plan ? Let us assume that it is available. In that case, you are bluffed by the BSNL staff. They have not even processed the application to NIB. Once it is passed to tech department by admin section, they approve it and send to NIB Bangalore where they provision it. BSNL staff normally take some 1 week to do all these.

    Also it is possible that they ignored your application because rural plan slots are no longer available (or when I checked, their system doesn't even show those plans). You can check with them and confirm.

    You could have used the udaan site. Members report that plan change happens mostly in a day or two.

    No problem, make regular follow up calls to the BSNL office and make things faster.

    OK.... Now I am really on a doubt that If I get this plan or not.

    But Just today, I went to their office and they said nothing about it.

    I hope that this gets activated atleast in a week.

    And Also, I actually written the application for UL 625 but they said themselves that Why can't I take Rural plan.

    BSNL staff are worser than school children. They are the ones who leave WiFi unsecured, confirms a plan which is never activated, find virus the reason for all problems in a PC etc. In my case, they didn't even warn me that you won't get full 1 GB (limit of my first plan) if your connection is not from 1st (I got on 15th or something). I ended up getting bill in thousands. You have now got a taste of their word (which many got before), they make such blank promises. That is why I warned to check the plan and not to assume it will change on 12 o clock.

    But as I said, may be it is available, let us wait and see. Talk to them and see how much it works.

    One more doubt...

    In the BSNL Portal, Under Postpaid Orders,
    I can see only my old Home 500C plan is Provisioned. (Only One Row)..

    What does this mean???

    Does it mean that my new ULD Rural 500 plan request is not recieved yet.??

    BB Home Rural Combo ULD 500
    512 Kbps upto 6 GB & 256 Kbps beyond 6 GB


    Use correct nomenclature for all tariff plans.

    Yes, it should show some status if it is processed by the tech department.

    Plan not yet changed after 2 days.
    Also, still no change in the Postpaid orders.


    OK, Now my usage stops counting for the month in the BSNL Portal.

    Today is September 4 and I surfed in the morning. But the usage in the potal shows only upto 3-09-2011.

    Usage not shown for today.

    Do speed test as in Page 4.
    Check tomorrow usage details.
    What Summary column shows ?( on Sept 5th)
    Recheck "My Orders" Page. or similar menu item.
    Check the service effective date.

    Hello, Today my speed got decreased...





    But no change in the portal.

    and the download speed is now only 60-70 kbps

    Check the usage details in portal. If it shows zero, your plan is changed.

    Ya, not loading for me too. Try after some time. It seems your plan has changed. But to be safe, better wait for the portal to come online.

    data.bsnl.in is loading now. And i still cannot see anything about the new plan.

    I can only see one row with my old BB FN 500C provisioned.

    But the speed got decreased to almost 512kbps.

    Am I safe now to browse unlimited?
