I am using D'link GLB-502T modem during last 2 years.last 5 or 6 month i can't connect some particular site like fresherworld , naukri.com ,yahoo.com and some specific site.
Please help me out from this problem.

You may have to change the MTU value.
May be 1492 1480 or 1460
Try tcpoptimizer from http://speedguide.net
Select optimal values.

I set MTU value but problem is same..
I have PPPoE connection in modem.

I think,in any how some particular site is restricted site in My modem configuration.
For Testing purpose i connect my machine through my local cabel net and all site are loading perfectly. But in BSNL modem can not connect these sites..

Help me plz

Try changing DNS : google dns 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
or opendns 208.67.220.220 ad 208.67.222.222
try the ping test for the web site and MTU value..

I have PPPoE connection in modem

You can try Dialer Mode. enter userID/PW in system Window.

if automatically select , Change DNs here.
Apply Save.

Click on "SETUP" on the menu at the top.
(11) Click on "New Connection" on the left.
Now fill in the details as follows :
Name - BSNL
Type - PPPOE
Username : Type what username BSNL has given you.
Password: Type what password BSNL has given you.
Against MTU : feed 1452 to replace the default 1492.

1. Please mention your current MTU value. Hope you tried 1480, 1490 and further additions of 10. It is a trial and error method. Try different values till you get rid of the problem.

2. Reset your modem to factory settings and reconfigure it. Mostly it will solve such problems.

3. You can use Turbo mode in Opera browser for such sites. I myself use it when I am not able to access some sites in normal mode.

What is the value of MTU selected ?

Yes, in opera turbo mode some sites are loading perfect in which are not loading in chrome or any other browser..

and in dialer mode problem is same. i give MTU value 1452.

try MTU starting with 1500 . reduce by 8. try PING.
till there is no packet loss.. try this value.
