Thread: wifi problem with netgear DGN 1000

M new to this forum...so forgive mistakes if any..
I have activated my Bsnl broadband using Netgear DGN 1000 ADSL modem/Router... Net is working fine in my PC.. But it is not working in my Samsung Galaxy pop...Wifi status on phone says its connected.. but Internet works for few seconds and then it shows network error... Internet works well on my office wifi... BUt my friend's Karbonn a1 connects to internet without any problem (Karbonn A1 also runs on Android froyo 2.2 same as my phone)... I tried reading in android forum.. They say it is problem with DNS. I entered the ip and Dns from my computer.. but still problem remains...(Wifi Connected no internet).. I Will be very grateful if somebody can solve this issue..please...

Are u in "bridge" mode ? If so change to "PPPoE" mode. I think it will solve ur problem.

Router is in PPPoE mode only..... Do i need to change any settings in phone???
