i have registered for new broadband connection yesterday on the udaan portal,
after registration they gave me one lead no. .... i wasn`t sure when they will revert back but just now received a sms saying bsnl employee with name and his number who will contact me for further procedure....

plz let me know whats the next procedure they will follow and how much time it will take to establish the connection..

btw i am going to apply for Home 750 UL combo plan.. i want this connection in pune...

Do you have a land line ? If no, you have to furnish address proof and other details. In some circles they come and collect the documents. Some ask applicants to visit the local exchange with documents. It seems they will come and collect in your place.

Mostly Udaan site is very fast. Once you provide all documents, it all happens in much less than a week's time.

Nice choice. UL 750 Combo is very much within budget and no land line rent. But no free calls too.

btw i was using same at my home town and do have that modem (teracom 4 lan ports and wifi enabled)... i want to use the same here...

considering this what will the charges including new phone connection deposit and all ?

You can use the same modem on this connection. From what I heard, BSNL has stopped supplying modems, so no charges for that. You can check this link for initial charges

Check BSNL Pune / Maharashtra site for any offers (normally they waive installation charges from time to time).

just a query, i am living at this place on rent... rent agreement is in the pipeline.. is the rent agreement hold good for address proof... what else if needed to be submitted?

Yes, I think you need to get a statement from your land lord and a copy of rent agreement is required. Not sure, but I think land lord can help you even if the rent agreement is not through. Just talk to the BSNL guy and I am sure he will help you. Also you need to pay money only in the first bill. Mentioning because a few fraud agent issues were reported here. If he asks for money, better make a call to exchange and make sure he is genuine.
