Thread: how to configure belkin wireless router n150

I have bought a belkin wireless router n150 and i have a huawei ASDL modem. I have made the physical connections and when i switc on to the router its blinking Red and i am unable to Open i/p to access belkin router ie,
192.168.2.1.

Please help me how to map the Modem IP address to the router. Can i take the router and the Modem to the BSNL office and tell them to configur it?

Yes, most BSNL office help you configure your WiFi router. You can take it to them and request configure according to your needs.

Presume you can connect correctly to Internet using the Huawei ADSl modem likley to be AX MT882. or MT841. ( Non wifi)
Check here for settings in PPPoE "Always On " mode.

Enable DHCP.

The IP address192.168.2.1 ( is it default Ip address ?) for Belkins should have been entered in LAN page of the router.and try default 192.168.1.1 to change.
Select NO/ dynamicIP rest of the entries usual.
Check Whitelist ( MAC address disabled )
The ssid shoud appear in laptop or smart phone
