I'm using Bsnl Type I Siemens modem on rental basis for 2 year. suddenly from yesterday it's not working. Link indicator yellow led blinking all the time. at first I thought it's a network problem but checked this modem connecting in my frnd's broadband line giving same result. ................... please tell me what to do?? will BSNL replace my Modem?? how and where to apply?

No, I don't think replacement is possible because

    1. Normally warranty is for one year.

    2. BSNL has stopped supplying modems in most of the circles.

Do you still pay rent ? If yes, trying talking to someone responsible at the exchange.

    1. Reset the modem using the reset button on the backside. Normally a small hole similar to vent. Use a ball point pen refill and press hold for say 30 seconds when the modem is ON. Use this guide to reconfigure and get back to internet

C2110 (Type-A) ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

Take a print out or save it as a file in your PC. Once you reset, you will not be able to connect to internet.

    2. Complain here and wait for BSNL people to attend the issue
