    I am using Dlink N300 dsl-2750u.
It is doing really well. I am pretty satisfied with it.
Better go for N300 model of any make. It has very good range and also comes with extra usb slot.

I'm currently using Belkin Surf wireless modem router (Belkin : Surf Wireless Modem Router) that is working nicely for me. Been using it for the past 6 months. No issues.

np. The actual price is lot less than what's mentioned in Belkin website. Flipkart has a new section for network devices and Belkin range are offered at almost 40% discount (Belkin List India: Flipkart.com).

That's great. Belikin is a trusted brand, I think price was the only thing that could have held back this model. By the way, familiar with any good modems supporting 3G USB cards ?

From what I know, most Asus modems support 3G USB cards. Here (3G setup on Asus RT N13U WiFi router with 3G datacard - YouTube) is the video of one of them with how to set up a 3G USB to work with. The only problem is I could not find them in online stores (except ebay).

This one seems nice (just Rs. 2241 for modem cum router)

Flipkart: Belkin Basic Modem Router (N150): Router

    D-Link DSL-2750U N300 ADSL Modem Wireless Router | eBay

    http://*******************/index.php?topic=4323.0

    similar to Beetel450BXI/DNA A212_I/WA3002-g4 etc.
Performance/Range can be better because of multiple antennae
    etc.

I bought for 2300 Rs at SP road, Bangalore. Market range is between 2500-2300.
With its' USB you can share a pendrive or USB hard drive across the network.

Installation and configuration goes like a breeze.
Google for "Dlink N300 2750U bsnl configuration", go by the screen shots posted at techforum.com.

I'm thinking myself of getting a "Belkin Play Max Modem Router" and would advise you also to for it. Only if your budget agrees for it.

Btw, I myself am not sure whether this modem can be used as an alternative for BSNL modems..If anyone could throw some light upon it..would be very useful..the model i'm talking about is also available on flipkart website..

If this can be used..it is definitely the best one..

@LeySaley Yes, you may use Belkin as an alternative for BSNL modems. I use Belkin Surf modem router for the past 6 months or so. Doing well so far.

@LeySaley Please make sure you buy a modem-router. If you go with just a router, it can not be used for what you intend to do.

The link to Belkin modem routers is here... Compare Belkin Routers

From the above link, it looks like Belkin has come up with new models (at least new design). I've also heard a bit of negative reviews about Play Max series (that's the reason I went with Surf series). Still I recommend any Belkin product for it's service, value for price, etc.

    Positive approach;
Better you give the shop name and address.
Users can order and even spent extra for courier charges.
Original price listed aroundRs 2000/= as listed in some web sites.
