Check portforward.com . They have guides with screen shots.

    Hi Essbebe,
I checked Allowed Incoming Ping and added the necessary ports. Previously i only forwarded the ports in the netgear admin setup.

I could get the pings from PFPortChecker, but still couldnt connect my custom apps. but atleast, hopefully, i am done on this part.

    Thanks again.

Please post screen shots editing the page suitably. ( same way i had done )
You are not even mentioning which application you need to Port forward!!

A picture is worth thousand words.

    Hi Essbebe,
pls find attached some pics (i am yet top 15 posts thus couldnt format the pics in the post itself).

i am connected to a pc (lan) and a laptop (wifi).

while i am able to connect to the pc without any issues the laptop is having issues.

i am trying to connect 2 custom software. actually a winform server and a silverlight and/or winform client. all the set up is working fine if i try to assign an private ip (like 10.0.0.2 or 10.0.0.3 in the client as the case may be). but things go haywire when i am assigning an public ip (59.93.**.***).

    thanks.

    try modemIP 192.168.1.1in wifi router.
Even if PPPoE disabled in WIFI router ,
Port will open, because of Modem setup.
    feedback.

if i understood you correctly then it wont let me do the same. throwing ip conflict error. also i have to reconfigure the whole set up (port forwarding etc).

Try your port forwarding set up only with GLB502T. for application/s.
    Keep the MAIN GATE OPEN.
Disconnect Netgear from the system set up.

Better not involve in all sorts of theory.
    Try .
    Report failure or improvement.

for my reference :My wifi router.
