Hi All - This is a fantastic resource and I was hoping I could get some help from you. I have been trying to setup my wireless for the last 3 days and have not been succesful.

I have a BSNL unlimited 2MBPs line through a UT-300R Type I modem. My house has 1 desktop and 2 laptops. The desktop is running XP Pro and the laptops are runninng Vista. I have a Netgear WGR614v7 wireless router.

When I follow the cd instructions that came with my netgear, the wireless router cannot establish a connection through the wizard. I was also not able to access the web utility. I finally mannaged to connect to the web utility when I changed my modems IP from 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2 (As the Netgear had the same IP). I then tried entering my static IP / subnet / DNS into the Netgear's WS utility as configured in my laptops (I dont use a username and password even though I have one). But unfortunatley could not connect to the internet.

This is driving me nuts and I would appreciate any help I could get so my 2 laptops and desktop can connect to the internet wired and wirelessly.
