You have posted the answer too

i m using this from past 4 months, it was fine but from 2 days suddenly my speed goes down to 25kbps upload or download, line/cable has been checked, lineman told me its fine, u get good voice n nothing is bad with cable etc, even i call CC, they said they will do needed, but still nothing is changed what should i do, Lineman said it may be having sever prb. what is the solution for this ? You might have reached the 8 GB limit. After that the speed will dip to 256 Kbps which is 256/8 = 32 KBps. 32 KBps is the maximum speed. What you actually get will be around 25 -30 KBps.

Check your BSNL portal and see if it has crossed 8GB. If in doubt, post the screen shot of usage details page after blackening personal details.

You can still give this a try

from past 4months and always cross 8GB and still get download speed upto 100kbps

    1 Byte (B) = 8 bits (b)

    256 Kbps = 256/8 = 32 KBps

    100 Kbps = 100/8 = 12.5 KBps

Hope you got what I meant.

If you are sure it is not due to FUP, you can try the link.
