Thread: Has my BB Plan changed for real ??

I applied for broadband plan change from BBG-FN-HOME-500-MONTHLY to BB-HOME-UL-750-MONTHLY on 11th September 2011 through BSNL selfcare portal(wdc) .
On 14th September 2011 , the portal displayed that the plan has been provisioned .The speed also successfully decreased from 230-240kbps to 60-65kbps.
Now the chargeable units is being shown as 0 .However the upload and download statistics still are being updated .
So my doubt is whether the plan has been successfully changed or will it change only at the end of September .
Also can anyone plz in short give any idea what amount will i be charged as bill ??

Yes, don't worry, your plan is now UL 750 (with effect from September 11)

Reason ?

1. Order status says UL 750 " Provisioned ", order closed, Home 500 " deprovisioned ".

2. In usage details screen shot, " Chargeable units " is zero.

3. Speed has come down to 60 KBps.

Since all these factors are positive, you can confirm the plan has changed.

Possibility:
Since you were on Home 500 plan earlier for 13 days your d/l
free day quota will be .5GB or say approx 600MB.
If this was exceeded, you may be charged @20paise MB

Add up your day usage TILL 13th Sept 2011.
( Night usage free already listed separately, Ignore )

BB rental also for 500C say Rs220/= (500/30 X 13)
BBrental for Home 750 say Rs425/=(750/30 X17)
Addl security dep H750 Rs 750/=
BB usage excess if any ________ ( @20p/MB)
total BB dues. Sept 2011 ____________

My plan earlier was BB FN 500 which had 2.5Gb of day usage.So around 800Mb usage was available for first 10 days..I will calculate the bill accordingly..
Hope the BSNL guys would also do the billing correctly
Until now i didn't have any billing problem. Hope so BSNL continues to serve well

( day usage ) could be 1.2 GB or 1030 MB approx FREE DAy quota.
This plan 500C with 2.5GB speed upto 2 Mbps NU)
has been discontinued wef 1st Feb 2011 , and you will never get it again !

Hmm...
The BB FN 500 plan has been discontinued. But I am pretty happy with UL 750 now.The speed of 512kbps is really good for the price.
Most importantly i don't have to wait anymore for the clock to tick to 2.00am .
I used to download hell lot of data during the night unlimited plan.Now m bored of downloading
BSNL is improving as regards to plan changes and complaint resolvability issues.
The Selfcare portals rock \m/

If any billing issues occur, you can talk to the accounts officer. Normally they will adjust the amount in the next bill.
