    Default Limited connectivity

    Hi All

I am Dr Kukreja from Ahmedabad

I have two issues to be discussed for DataOne

I have my clinic & residence about 100 meters apart

In my clinic I have my reception on ground floor and my consulting room on first floor

I have an unlimited BSNL Dataone connection with MT841 modem

The modem is at my clinic

My clinic and residence are connected to net by overhead Lan Cable

    Issue no 1:

At my residence I have two computers connected to the net , I tried using a Lan splitter but am not able to connect both PC simultaneously

If I disconnect one cable I am able to connect to the second PC , but if I put both cables in splitter both stop surfing

    • Is there any configuration that could help ?
    • Would I be able to connect both if I use a Hub ?
    • Or any other solution

    Issue No 2:

At my clinic I connect the reception PC on ground floor with the modem directly through a Lan cable and Laptop in my chamber with wireless

Repeatedly it happens that the Laptop with wireless connection connects , One PC at residence also connects but the PC at reception directly connected with moden through Lan shows Limited Connectivity

If I connect a USB Wireless card to this PC and try connecting through wireless network , than also I get the same limited connectivity problem

    • IS there any solution to this ?
    • Any particular configuration ?
    • Any hardware problem ?

Any one with a reply to any or both issues , do help me sort out the problem

    Thanking you in Anticipation
    Regards
    Dr Kukreja
