    Default Unique Problem

    Hello,

    To whom so ever.

I have a unique problem with my bsnl connection/ Modem dont know exactly.

I have UTSTAR WA3002-G4 WIFI Router. I have got 750 Unlimited plan.I get good speed from bsnl. I did check snr and attenuation as follows-

    Downstream Upstream
    SNR Margin (dB): 25.4 16.5
    Attenuation (dB): 36.0 14.5

Did not find any problem with SNR/ATTENUATION.

    Main Problem :-

After Every three or four days my wifi connection shows yellow mark, I have to restart my modem once in every 3-4 days.

I google a lot for this Problem, but did not find any answer.

    I had tried Following Things:
1> Reset to Factory setting then again made PPOE type connetion.

2> Did Tweaks with IGMP and Qos Service.

    3> Tried different DNS.

4>Launch Complaint in Bsnl. Bsnl guy came said everything is Fine , I can't understand whats fine with my connection. I said him," Have to restart my modem every 3-4 Days", You wont believe a answer from him. He said Chalata hai Power Button Band Karake Chalu Karana, Keval 2 Minute Hi Toh Lagega.

    Can anyone Help Me....

which mode are you using in DSL settings ?
    try g.lite only.
your line condition is not good,if bsnl guy not willing to change the line you cant do anything.

(1)Presume Yellow mark is shown on wifi icon in Taskbar.

(2)Confirm when wifi fails Lan mode working is ok.

(3)By restarting modem/router or laptop if it works
check system log in Beetel450TCI. for error message.

    (4)
checkipconfig /all what is the lease time shown/

    (5)
copy /paste ONLY LAN/WLAN data here.
( No tunnel data required if seen )

(6)Mention OS used: Windows 7/Vista ?Xp sp3 etc.

    Feedback item wise. only.

Oh I am Waiting For An Error to come...Right now its working fine. But yes i need to have to wait for 3 days to come down for error. Most probably i think, This would be a problem of DNS Server. Might be BSNL's DNS go down after 3 days for my specific connection...

    1. Reinstall network card drivers and check.

(2)Confirm when wifi fails Lan mode working is ok.

Please provide all requested info, it helps us identify the problem.

    2. Post the screen shot of Network and sharing center at the time of error. You will mostly see a " X " mark which indicates disconnection on top of the Network and sharing center page. Click on it and try troubleshoot.

    3. Borrow network card from a friend and check by using it for a few days (don't forget to check driver compatibility).

    More on feedback.
