Default [URGENT] BSNL - Portforwarding - Strange Problem.

    Hello, everyone.
I once had DNA A211 router which I was able to configure correctly. Recently I bought ZXDSL 531B router. I was trying to run my home web server.
I'm using no-ip. Here are the steps involved:
    I registered at no-ip.
    Added a host with (myname).no-ip.org
Downloaded their DUC and ran it, chose my host from list. Thats all okay.

Now, I opened my router config. page i.e 192.168.1.1. Went to NAT and added a virtual host. The screen shot is attached below.
I enabled all the services from Access Control settings in router config.
Now, I'm running APACHE web server at port 80. At the time of of installation I configured it to be running at (myname).no-ip.org.

Now using my mobile internet connection when I open (myname).no-ip.org. It actually opens my router configuration page. How to make it to open / redirect to apache. And why is it opening the router config. page exactly?

P.S : one silly question: Why do we add only 192.168.1.2 in NAT server ip address. (Is it because my cmd->ipconfig shows this:

    Windows IP Configuration

    Ethernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection:

    Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

Wireless LAN adapter Wireless Network Connection:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Home
    Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : myipv6 address
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.2
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

    Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

    Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected
    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :

    )
Or something else is the reason?
Kindly guide, Its urgent. Please help me to solve this problem.

    This may help

How to Setup No Ip on your computer ~ Prashanth Speaks-Technology and Life

If you are planning to host your own website, I will suggest hiring a free host or a cheap hosting plan. I agree than free hosts has lots of drawbacks, but if you can pay a bit say Rs. 600 an year (comes to Rs. 50 per month), you can get a decent beginner hosting. Also if you set up your website using a sub domain with No IP and it gets established, you got links to your guides and articles on forums , then you will have to live with it for the rest of the time. Domain is very cheap these days. You can get a domain for Rs. 500 from a premium service provider. I

If you host your site on your computer, your computer should be ON for 24 hours and otherwise your site won't be accessible. Also speed of your connection will also affect your website. If you download something on torrent, it will eat up the bandwidth and your site will load very slow. Also you will have to pay for electricity, for the same cost, you can easily hire a paid host which will help you have a easily loading site.

    But it is your decision.

can you give the address for your web server? we can test remotely. or send PM (private message to @meetdilip)
Are you trying in your own system ?
    also substitute/try port 8080.

    Para two:
]I once had DNA A211 router which I was able to configure correctly. Recently I bought ZXDSL 531B router
both have same hardware board and identical menu pages.

Sure, I've messaged you and @meetdileep the details of my account.

Yes, you're right both have almost same menu and options. I guess the problem is that router itself is using port 80 to serve html requests. So I tried to change port to 85/90 too (in my webserver as well as setting up a new virtual host) but that doesn't help.

When I open 192.168.1.2 in my PC *(connected to router) the apache welcome page opens. But when I try the same with my WAN-IP:85 it doesn't.
Couldn't figure out where I'm wrong.
When I try my-Wan-IP:8080 it shows router page. Meh!

    Kindly Guide!

Tried the URL you gave at 7:29 AM, neither modem menu nor the web page opened. It seems your system was offline.

    Your PM.
IsUp.Me -> Check if your website is down or up? Tested . Not available 0837AM.
you should keep your modem and system on when asking for a test.
Members may log in any time.
Test in another broadband connection ( not yours ) or another laptop. also check Ip filter page is disabled/firewall settings.
    Download Teamviewer
Send "TV PM ID AND PW. to @meetdilip
I may not be regular on IBF for 3 or 4 days due to other personal work.

The web address has been registered? I think ,
it takes 24 hours for web site to be activated.
