as it is being charged 80ps for 1MB, u jst divide the total charges by 80 to get us actual usage..
for ex., 1300 Rs ----> 1625MB or 1.5 GB of data usage out of 2.5 GB. so, chill man u r left out with 1 more GB

I am also unable to login. I talked to the BSNL person in Pune just now. He told me that the site (Dataone WebMail) for Account Administration/Check Usage site is under re-construction (mail site is working). Has anyone been able to login?

If u r still facing a problem
might be that ur cache memory is full and ur browser isnt accepting more data...
so delete all temporary files,cache and cookies, It will work i guess

You can use Datafox in Firefox extension to check BSNL broadband usage or alternatively U can use DataOne-Bandwidth 2.7 a standalone program to check out usgae of BSNL broadband checkout the below link

These programs wont work with the newer connections issued by BSNL

One can use DataOne-Bandwidth 2.8.1 latest version which can check latest like Home 500c and Home 500 c+.

Yes you are right.. and even if they do work bsnl or mtnl wont bill you looking at what this script calculated for you .. they have their own records and thats where you should be looking at to see how much you have used.

hello ,i am not able to check my account usage,can u pls tell me what to do?
after i login with portal id and password there the next page is blank,nothing shows up regarding usage.can anybody please help?i tried accessing it with opera,IE 7.both are not showing usage.pls it urgent!

it take 3-4 days for bsnl to activate your portal id.i also got the same blank page for 5 days before i able to login.

It dosen't depend on how many hours you surf on the net, it entirely depends on what you do in those hours. Every time you load a page/flash movie in your browser, the size of that page/file gets registered in the session logs. Likewise, when you download a file, that gets logged too. At the end of the month, its all added up. If you have exceeded your limit, You have to pay Rs. 0.90 / Extra MB extra. (You need your Dataone username and password to use it)

such softwares are good but you should not rely only on these softwares.what matters in the end is bsnl's own records & only on the basis of that your bill will be made.thats why you should always give first priority to check your account usage at bsnl's site.

These tools wont work for the newer subscribers with ip range 117.xx.xx.xx

Two days back i got my Dataone Broadband...Home 250 plan. Its working very well.
I just want to know my data usage. Its not working in any of the dataone websites. I've tried almost all the ways possible to get rid of this problem.
wat is administrative id? is it same to that of portal id or the username required to connect to broadband?
This checking of datausage for broadband really sux...........

remember this link works only during working hours(usually 10am-5pm).also portal id is a 14 character long & will be something like ami12345678901 if connection is in name of amit.it will take 5-6 days for your portal id to be activated.untill your portal id activated if you try to login you will simply get a blank page.usually this links works better in internet explorer.
