i am not able to log in bsnl mail with the given user id&password

What is your IP range ? 117.xxx or 59.xx ? Check here

What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...

If 117.xx, try mail.bsnl.in. You should use your connection user name @bsnl.in as email ID and password is normally password. If you are still facing issues, check with the broadband section of your exchange.
