in your pic virtual circuit is PVC2 which might be the reason for your problem.there are many virtual circuits in modem setting starting from PVC0 & generally we setup PVC0 & disable/delete all other PVCs since home users generally use one PVC circuit only.in your case since PVC2 is set so you have to make sure that all other PVC(i.e.0,1,3 etc)are disabled & PVC2 is set as default route.

I cannot remember, . you can give the link for me to see it again.
    If needed.
Just verify entries in this page.
    deleted.
    SAVE.
From Maintainence select REBOOT from current settings.
Wait for the reboot slider to show 100%
Since the unit is new , try for exchange as trying FW update/downgrade. will be risky for you.
    FEEDBACK.
    or
you have to post screen shots of all the pages.
    Advanced options/ etc.

Your Modem is absolutely OK and able to work good with BSNL ISP. The screenshot you shown here with the settings is correct. The problem is in your computer. Either you don't setup the Gateway on your LAN TCP/IP properties or you do not set the DNS address. Check That TCP/IP settings. "Use the Obtain IP address automatically" option, some time it work good and check possible to browse the sites or not. If nothing is working then you need to check something like this == Set up the Bridge mode on your Modem with the same VPI/VCI 0/35 and then setup the WAN Miniport ( PPPOE from Desktop ) on your Computer. After setting up the Bridge Mode on your modem save and restart your modem and after you get the Link lights stable ( or DSL lights ) use your user id and password in PPPOE Desktop and Log in to your BSNL ISP and check whether you can browse the web site or not. If you see you are able to browse the web site then there is a problem with your antivirus with Internet security. uninstall the antivirus or Internet security then restart your computer and setup the PPPOE on your modem and it will work.
