Thread: settings for UTSTARCOM-300...This s my story...Help me.

hi friends,
last week(i.e 4.9.07 and 5.9.07) i was unable to connect to the internet(cant see the webpage eventhough 4 LED's of the modem is ON)...........then i reseted the modem.........still i cant view the page. after lots of tension, i contacted the customer care..............they gave me the settings to configure the modem..................after configuration it does work.................but the problem is, the highest downloading speed of the utorrent is 10KB/s (even for high seedings).....................before (i.e.,before 4.9.07) i got the downloading speed as 121KB/s.................now i cant download anything..........my tension s increased double.................pls help me............can u pls give me ur modem configuration settings to attain high downloading speed in utorrent?

note: i downloaded 3.7MB file(mp3) in 10 seconds (in mozilla firefox).........

Is it during night unlimited or during anytime the speed is slow. i have slow download speeds(70-100KB/s) only during 2.00 to 8.00. rest of times its almost 200KB/s. i had increased my speed from 30-40 KB/s to 70-100 KB/s by configuring utorrent. experimenting on increasing speeds further.

try configuring utorrent. if speed is low at all hours then reconnect all lines and see......

no its slow all the time...what config shuld i use for bitlord??

Ive never even heard of this bit lord thing.. have you tried ABC? or any other bit torrent client?
It might be a problem with that client itself.

Have you tried checking the speed of your internet connection?

ya u were right admin....now m using utorrent.its working fine now...thank u admin...

The best torrent application is bit comet or azureous. But Azu will slow your computer a bit as its a java based application and bit comet is c++ based so its very light and a powerful application.
