Dears I am having BSNL 750 unlimited with 512 kbps. How can see speed of internet.

Download a file from Microsoft web site for actual download speed. .

1. My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester (Same as in post above)

2. Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test (Try Chennai and US servers)

Above two options need at least 2 trials.

3. Download any file from Microsoft and check.

4. For torrent speed, try a Linux torrent and check.

Install a bandwidth meter, you can try one from below

5. Networx Bandwidth meter

6. Bitmeter

Both show actual consumption in graph (use it while downloading).

Me too on UL 750. It is good speed. You can use multiple torrents and get better upload speed. Mine reaches around 60 KBps.

May be you are talking about the download speed and not upload speed.

I mentioned about upload speed. I easily get 60 KBps upload on U 750. When some torrents has lesser no. of leechers, it comes to 30 - 35 KBps, but if you use multiple torrents, you can get 60 KBps and keep your ratio on private trackers.

Well, i am on the same plan as like yours and i get U/L speed of 35 KB/s at maximum.
I don't think it would be a good idea to use multiple torrents simultaneously with such an awful download speed as per the tariff plan.

You need not use two downloading torrents at the same time. You can use one torrent which is download + upload and another just upload. The tracker I use normally has higher no. of leechers. May be that is why I get 60 KBps as upload speed (I get it on single torrent).
