Thread: my vonage is in trouble

for past four years i am using vonage vt2542 and it was working well . I am using bsnl broadband connection. (home plan 500) now i changed my connection to unlimited home plan 900 so they asked my data one modem to change the configuration and it was done by bsnl now after tht my internet connection is working fine but my vonage is not working . now i dont know wht to do furthest to slove this problem .

wht i should do so tht my vonage will work well.

(1). You have to access your modem settings ( mention make/model/number)
BACKUP present settings
(2)Change to PPPoE mode.
(user ID and PW stored in WAN menu page of modem )
(3)Enable DHCP. SAVE reboot.

(4)If Internet is working OK confirm.
(5)Remove the rj45 cable from computer end and connect to
Vonage unit.
(6)Connect another RJ45 to computer.
(7) working ?

(8)Post errror message which appear on LCD screen.

(9)Do you get any Audio error message when you lift the handset ?

(10)The subscription has been paid in U.S ? ( if applicable )
