Thread: Differential plan - speed switch

I am using ULD 900 with 4Mbps upto 8 GB and 256 Kbps beyond 8 GB. My question is do they change the speed immediately when I touch 8 GB to 256 Kbps?

I started a download of 4GB when I was already at 7 GB and even after 2GB download it seems at 4MBPS.

I think the speed change will happen only if you restart the connection. But you cannot keep the modem ON and get 4 Mbps infinitely. Once your lease time expires, connection will be reset and the speed will go back to 256 Kbps. But it will run for 1-2 days if you play accordingly.
