Mention modem - model and make.

Which mobile do you use ? Mention its OS.

Do you save settings after changing the settings ? If not, it will vanish once you restart the modem. May be that is happening in your case.

I saved and rebooted...i think its not prob with mob's os...by d way its samsung galaxy s2...android...
checked al the settings were right...i shud change in lan settings in advnce setup...just changing start ip fro or back...and rebooting...if its 192.168.1.2 im chngng to 192.168.1.3 or 192.168.1.4 or 192.168.1.5 or whatever aftr save and rebooting..wifi is working...aftr disconnecting aftr its use...if im trying to connect agn some times luckily its directly connecting...or else we shud on the computer agn going to router settings same manner changing... but this time if its kept 192.168.1.3 for xample previously..now im changing back to 192.168.1.2 ...its not compulsary to keep the same...but im just doing like that..saving>rebooting...again i can see wifi symbol coming up on mob...i dont think this is a big prob but wenever i need wifi..i shud on the computer and change its settings...thats matter !
