Thread: am i charged for this

ive opted for home 500 plan ....yeaterday i downloaded some stuff about 1gb...i started the download at around 3.00 am n ended at 8.25 am....so accordin to the plan the unlimited download is from 2 to 8 am so will i be charged for the whole 1gb or only for the data downloaded from 8 am to 8.30

dude i think you must take 2mbps play or 6 mbps to download so much fast

@ shashank , you will be charged only for the download after 8 AM
it will be clearly shown on your usage records details at Dataone portal .

yeah tats wat i thought but its showin the whole quantity .......i started at 3 am n disconnected at 8. 30am ...i downloaded data of 1 gb...so wat say will i be charged ... but i guess the downloadin was completed before 8.30 ....but i disconnected at 8.30.... hmmm n even is showin in the account details ,,,so wat say ...???

"Sum Traffic Excluding Night Unlimited(GB)" is shown at the top right
corner of the data usage portal . it should exclude your free usage
between 2 - 8 AM . and right most column of the data usage records
also excludes the free usage . see it carefully at http://10.240.144.195/

yes i saw it .....its includin the data downloaded between 2 to 8 am.....even yesterday i was surfin n watchin videos on you tube....even this has been included in the usage..wen i enquired the bsnl office they r like "sometime they just display it but not count".... is it so????,,,,,has this ever happened to u???

please confirm that your plan is shown as home 500
on the dataone usage portal . and can you post a
screenshot of your usage records ...

the first column of usage records should show Service Name
as HOME 500 downloadspeed - Upto 2 Mbps . I am sure that
you know how to take a screen shot ( ALT key + Print Screen key
- paste into any image editor program and save as jpg or png ; you
can attach that image by uploading here along with your post )

hey the service name its given "Startup Plan,downloadspeed Upto 2 Mbps".......

^ if it is showing as "Startup plan" then your broadband
connection is considered as Home 250 plan . that is
you do not have free usage between 2AM - 8AM .

if you have applied for Home 500 plan then contact AOTR
at your exchange as soon as possible to make it correct .

^ @ blue_guy , you need not worry . your present chargeable
data is 0.27GB as given at the top right corner . This sum of
Traffic(GB) Excluding night unlimited is considered to calculate
the bill . if it is less than 2.5GB for home 500 plan then no extra
payment is charged .

dude u r screwed .. startup plan means HOME 250
u used ur whole d/l quota in a day !!

I think ur plan doesn't include the night unlimited feature..
