    Default BSNL Wifi connection cost

Hi there. I already have a BSNL 750UL plan and use it on my PC via Ethernet. How can I make the connection a Wifi connection??? What would it cost me? I need both LAN and Wifi at the same time.... is this possible?

Yes, quite possible. Mention your current modem - model and make.

How many machines / devices do you intend to use ? Mention OS in each device.

    You can

    1. Buy a WiFi router and use in tandem with your current modem. One from iBall costs around Rs. 900, if you go for premium brands, it will cost around Rs. 1,500.

    2. Buy a new WiFi modem cum router. Premium brands costs around Rs. 2,000+. Your current modem will not be needed. In my case, it is used as back up modem.

    3. If any of the machines have Windows 7, you can try a software called connectify and make it a WiFi hotspot to which you can connect your WiFi devices.

Ok, I have 2 Machines, one Desktop PC and one Laptop, both running Windows7.
I also have an android smartphone which will also be using the wifi connection. Current modem model is Siemens C2110. Also, my desktop PC cant use wifi, it can only connect using Ethernet. What should be my next course of action?

Your choice. Either choose option 1 or 2. Or add a PCI WiFi card / USB WiFi dongle on desktop and use Connectify. But it will be a better to choose either option 1 or 2 as it gives more range than Connectify and you can use other devices even when the PC hosting hotspot is off.
