    Question BSNL Plan Change Problem

    I had started a thread on the last month regarding this. But this is to make sure Iam on the safe side. Let me explain it once more.

    I was a BBG FN Combo 500 Customer from 2008 till September 2011.

    On September 1, I requested a plan change to BB Home Rural Combo ULD 500.

    On September 7, the speed got changed to 512 kbps (the speed of the new requested plan). But the plan was not changed in the BSNL Usage Portal (data.bsnl.in). So, when I went to the local exchange, they said that the plan is changed on September 7(Only in their computer).

    Again to make sure, I called to the customer care(1504), and they also said that my current plan is BB Home Rural Combo ULD 500.

    Usage Portal (data.bsnl.in) shows that still Iam a BBG FN Combo 500 user. Everything shows that I am a BBG FN Combo 500 user (Portal Order, Usage Record and the charged units are also counting except night usage.)

    Another doubt is that, On September 3, I also requested a plan change through UDAAN website.

    I think everything is messed up.(the written application and the online request).

    I complained online about this.
    Another day,One of the officials called me from BSNL, and they also said that my current plan is BB Home Rural Combo ULD 500.
    I asked them "Are you sure? , Can I use unlimited now ?" And they answered Yes..

    Also, when I check the LEAD STATUS of the plan change request made by UDAAN, it shows "DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED".

    I am concerned about the bill of September(not yet recieved).

    I also want to know, How BSNL does the billing. Is that through BSNL Portal (data.bsnl.in)?. Or Is data.bsnl.in is just for the customers reference?

    I waited till October 2011 for the change in the Usage Portal. But still it is the old BBG FN 500 C plan provisioned.

    This screen shot shows you are on UNLIMITED PLAN.

    POST usage details for Sept 2011 Datafox

    Or the summary column from data.bsnl.in

    What speed you get now ? ( October 2011)

    Appears your plan IS NOT Changed. or you are not allowed RURAL tariff plan.

    Usage column at the end should show 0 KB and summary on top.
    automatically split for DAY and NU.

    Wait for the BILL for Sept /2011
    You could be charged/billed BB usage for 1 GB approx Rs 200/=
    BBG FN Combo 500 ( day limit 1.5 GB)

    Para two:
    appeared similar to mine. still there was doubt!!

    You have not changed the settings in DATA Fox, which will show if quota exceeded. surplus transfer etc.
    so posted day to day breakup. to clarify the issue.

    Your speedscreen shot also not conclusive.
    For 2 Mbps speed
    try tcp/ip optimizer from speed guide.net.

    @ ndevs

    Go to BSNL exchange, give a written request demanding a statement giving your current plan and its effective date. You can use this later in case you face trouble.

    Dear Sir,

    I have applied for plan change (to an unlimited plan) recently which is yet to be updated on selfcare portal. It still shows that I am charged for usage during this month whereas I was informed that my plan has been changed to an unlimited one by the customer care. I would like to have a statement showing my current plan and its effective date to avoid confusion. Please do the needful.

    Yours Faithfully

    USER should give confirm his LOCATION comes under RURAL definition.
    Actually I did n't know about a plan called Home ULD Rural 500.

    It gives me a speed of 512kbps upto 6GB and 256kbps beyond 6GB.

    When I reached the BSNL Office, they told me about this.
    I think this is a plan suited me!
    I corrected the application form from Home UL 625 C to ULD 500 Rural.

    I think this plan is limited to rural areas only.

    Anyway, thanks alot.....

    Plan change;

    Option 1:
    Give a written application ( some exchanges have standard form) to
    your Exchange customer care.(Normally changed from 1st of the month.
    Option 2;
    Apply in your selfcare portal. usually effected in a day or two.
    Option 3;
    Register for a plan change and get a LEAD number.
    follow up.
    UDAAN PROJECT -- BSNL no need to login.
    Instructions for filling up:
    http://*******************/index.php?...cseen#msg16558

    Para two : Check your selfcare portal, effective date of plan change.
