Thread: Error in the BSNL bill!

Hello, I just checked November's bill on the selfcare portal, and it's showing (800+750) than what I should pay. I'm sure it's not the extra download. It seems they have somehow put 800+750 as one time fees for landline and bb respectively. Let me explain, in september i had applied for BBG FN 500 Combo plan. I didnt have a landline then.
There was some installation fee waiver scheme so I had to pay Rs750 (500 for modem and 250 for installation of landline i think). I havn't yet got september's bill but selfcare portals shows Rs1550 more. I want to attach the pdf file here so you guys can take a look but before that I want to take off my personal details from the bill. What software should i use to put that black band on things I don't want to appear? or maybe somehow take it into paint or something and erase the personal details? Please reply fast so i can post the link to my bill.

Now i think i will just take a photo of it and edit in paint and post the link.

Here's something else i noticed, they have mentioned Rs 92 as free download for the month (9days actually), 9200paisa = 460 MB which makes 1.5 gB for 30 days, so I should be on the right plan, and it doesn't have any one time fee for landline does it? At first sight i thought they have given me the old bbg500 plan so the LL bill but that doesn;t seem to be the case. So, what's up with my bill and why does it have the 750 for BB, when I have already paid that when applying for the connection.

I just saw it says 11 units under LL, and has charged me Rs4 for that, how can i be charged for LL when I have 175 free calls. These seem confusing, please tell what this means on the top of the LL usage table: "Bill Plan: LL - INDIA ONE PLAN WITH RENT 180 FREE CALLS 50 AND UNIT RATE RS. 1.00 AFTER FREE CALLS". I dont' undrstand this at all. wtF is up with BSNL...well actually their connection rocks but seriously, what's up with the bill??

There is "BUG" in BSNL Computer billing Programming.
For Phone calls it is set to allow what is allowed under BB plan.

You have to give application to A.O(TR)

Telephone monthly rent is charged
and not charged as listed in BB Tariff plan.
Also free calls etc.

Para two:
In Selfcare portal and check your
BB plan Provisioned.
(a)Date and (b)nomenclature used.

Thankyou for replying. Selfcare portal isn't opening properly at the moment, so I'll check and replay later. By the way, what is the Rs800 that they have added to my bill. Is it what people with new LL only connection are supposed to pay? Can I also assume they have neglected the Rs750 that I had paid when applying for the connection?

ok, selfcare opened now but I can't find the exact name of my plan nor the date. This is all i could find. I use the edc portal.

Can you tell me the exact link to the details.
btw I had paid 750(500 for modem, 250 for ll and the other 250 for bb installation was waived nder some scheme) but it still shows something like 250 for LL in 5 installaments(?)

Its been a day since the last post help! help!
