Thread: Plan Changed But not Speed

I fill the online forum on 30 September on bsnl portal to change the plan from Home Combo 625 ul to BBG FN Combo 600 Plus....My plan changed yesterday (5 October)..But today at 4 am when i checked the speed remains same 30KB/s..And on my bsnl portal they showing broadband usage 7.50 Gb and chargeable units 5Gb...I not connected net on that day.Please Help me....They also not changed my bb speed......

1. How did you confirmed plan change ?

2. Ok, you didn't use net on 5 th, what is the time shown in usage details portal ?

Mention modem - model and make, modem mode - PPPoE or Bridge ?

Does your modem has WiFi ? Is it password protected ? If yes, mention the encryption used - WEP, WPA2 etc.

Also mention the Selfcare portal you use..
selfcare.sdc or ndc or edc or wdc.

Modem name DNA-A201BE-1,modem mode -Bridge.

Any update in speed ? Still 30 KBps ? Check the usage details, it will have your MAC ID. Check if there is any entry which is not yours. If you indeed didn't use the net on the date mentioned, you should complain about hacking to BSNL. Or may be it could be just an error in BSNL portal. Unlike data.bsnl.in, update process in very slow in selfcare portals. Closely watch your usage and if the same thing happens, inform BSNL as soon as possible.

No change in speed.

Did you check the MAC ID ? Is there any suspected entry ? Hope you already complained. Need feedback to provide further suggestions.

My bb usage details updated.Now only 143 MB.But my bb speed is still 30KB.Please tell me they capped my bb speed??? Where i can complaint????

check option in your selfcare portal.

You should go to the service provide portal to have a look that your plan has been changed or not or it still remains the same, if problem persists than you must again contact the service provider.

from yesterday i am getting 230KB speed......Problem solved.....

another "Miracle Cure" in IBF !!!!

This is not miracle...I everyday calls to our bsnl office.They also changed my phone wire.I called broadband section 10 -12 times....Also visited bsnl office.........And finally my plan changed in 15 days.........

Part 1: what you can do in your location. Modem/computer etc.
Part II: What Bsnl can do from main junction Box DSlam Port Change etc.

Normally, members report "problem solved .Thank you"
All the inputs discussions pertain to part I .
So if this thread is accessed at a later date, the new member
( or even older members), he/she won't know how the problem was solved.

It is also possible , the member got some hint from various post/s and solved

Now all your day usage/during unlimited plan
seems to have been taken into account. (wef 1st Oct 2011)
3.
Check MY Orders page for effective date of
Plan change.
4.
Take Excel copy of day to day usage till plan change
date. You have to wait for Bill for October /2011.

5..
The NIGHT usage is recorded for all in usage portals.
Mine data.bsnl.in .

In selfcare portal, goto "Check My Broadband Unbilled Usage Details" section, there you will find the note at the top:
