Default What is the best BSNL Broadband Plan...

I am using Airtel for past 4 years. Airtel was great till before 1 year. But now they became worst company ever. Their customer support became worst. Their speed suckz. I am getting "you have utilized 100% of speed......" message daily 100 times. I am no more gonna support a Fraud company. So i am planning to move to BSNL.

Can u please say me best BSNL broadband plan?

I spend most of my time in Youtube. I download around 10 movie per month.

I can spend upto Rs.1200 per month.

Please suggest me a good plan.

    Thank you...

Yep, if you can extend your budget, ULD 1350 is the best plan in that range. As you are not a heavy downloader, you will be able to manage with the FUP limit. But even if you cross the FUP limit, you can continue with 512 Kbps which is a decent speed for YouTube videos and downloads. I am using UL 750 and 512 Kbps is a decent enough speed if you do not wish to download Blue ray movie or games of size 8-10 GB.

I have seen reports on ULD 1350 where most users were happy with the plan. But if you are moving to BSNL because you hate customer care, " it is always green on the other side " will be correct phrase for you. Though BSNL has improved a lot these days with automating the service requests using selfcare portals and all, their customer care remains the worst in the market.

Being active on forums like this helps us meet it to great extent.

i know well about BSNL customer care... but Airtel customer care is worse than BSNL... Airtel is blaming me for their mistakes... even nodal officers are worst... so i no more like to continue with those money eaters... not only in broadband even in mobile prepaid they suckz... i already moved to tata docomo...

IMHO HOME UL 750 is the best plan offered by BSNL. Only BSNL can provide such plans at such cheap rates besides cable internet providers which are known to be unstable.

Streaming is not suitable for this plan unless you are patient enough to buffer.

At Youtube I get buffering above 240p. So I just wait for it to buffer/cache when watching 480p or 720p videos.

If money is not an issue I will definitely choose the fastest unlimited plan.

You can easily get 8GB FUPed 4 Mbps unlimited plan below Rs. 1,000 from BSNL. That will be enough if you are only interested in casual browsing and YouTube videos. But the problem occurs when you are into downloading. It would have been nice if we can download at 256 Kbps and browse at 4 Mbps using this plan. Some provision to select between two speed slots would have been nice. But knowing BSNL, it would be too much to ask.

I'm on ULD 1350 too. Works great. The best plan I've seen so far.
