Angry BSNL - New connection help

Hii friends planning to move from F***ing airtel to BSNL i am sick of 256kbps speed and unstable speed of airtel .

I am hardcore downloader in one way........... as i watch movies online a lot ,,plays MMO game and my usage may normally cross at least 30GB

so i know my friend who had one plan like 750/month 2.5 GB download limit and in the night he gets 2mbps ..unlimited from 11PM - 8AM

so i dont know much about that plan please explain it or give link for it

secondly can i have only broadband and not there telephone ? bcs in my family they are not agree for changing airtel number so my plan keep airtel landline remove broadband and get new BSNL broad band without landline is it possible ???????

secondly if u r from Karnataka - mysore ( this would be helpful ) give any BSNL service provider contact num so this might be done fastly thanks guys

    ----------------------------------------

    My [ previous plan was around 550 ( broadband + Phone charge+tax included )]

My budget is max 750 so suggest me with gud plan friends which comes under this rate if land line is must for broadband then how much it cost ?

You will need a land line to your home to get a broadband connection. But you can choose a combo plan where there is no rent for land line and you get free calls too.

There are two plans with night unlimited about which you mentioned.

    1. BBG FN Combo 500

    Monthly rent : Rs. 500 + 10.3 % tax

Speed : Up to 2 Mbps (all the time)

Day time limit : 1.5 GB

    2-8 AM : Unlimited

Free calls / month : 175 (doesn't mean you can talk infinitely on each call)

    2. BBG FN Combo 600

    Monthly rent : Rs. 600 + 10.3 % tax

Speed : Up to 2 Mbps (all the time)

Day time limit : 2.5 GB

    2-8 AM : Unlimited

Free calls / month : 250 (doesn't mean you can talk infinitely on each call)

Of two, BBG FN Combo 600 will be a better choice as it gives 1GB extra day time usage for additional Rs. 100.

Since your budget is up to Rs. 750, you can also try UL Combo 750 which gives 512 Kbps all the time with no telephone rent (and no free calls).

You can get more info here

BSNL has its own drawbacks like bad customer care and low pings which affect gaming etc. But it is manageable in most areas if you are not too far from exchange.

For a new Telephone connection: ( needed for Broadband)
You have to pay initially Installation Charges, Security deposit for local/std calls, and choose a plan, which will work to about Rs 1000/=initially.
Later when Broadband plans ( as above) are selected Telephone monthly rent is not charged.
