Thread: what is the max upload speed for bsnl..

i am planning to shift my self to BSNL from airtel so i just want to know what is the maximum "upload" speed you guys get from a plan which is having an uplink more then 1mbps.

Max. upload speed of BSNL is 768kbps for all the plans which have download speed of 1mbps or above. so you will get 768kbps in 1350UL.

Some people have reported that on BSNL FTTH they are getting upload speed of about 3mbps in 512kbps unlimited plan (Rs.900/month).

This plan is not available on BSNL website but i think you have to ask them personally if this is available at your location

Except for the ULD plans it's applicable and the plan you've mentioned is an ULD(FUP) one not an UL plan.So, expect around 512 Kbps upload speed for the aforesaid plan.

FTTH is still not available in most cities (even in metros), but if you can get it, the 512 Kbps UL plan costs around Rs. 800 (I think) and ping are much better than BSNL copper line connection. I use UL 750, 512 Kbps unlimited and get around 60 KBps upload speed.
