Thread: Login problem to multiplay.bsnl.co.in

I am able to login to ssss-multiplay.bsnl.co.in:8080/ssssportal.war/
in the mobile phone(in WiFi mode) but when I try to log in to this site from my PC(Windows 7 OS) or laptop(Windows xp OS) I get the good old error message "Sorry we could not process your request right now Please try after some time Reference Error Code: "1002" "
I tried logging in from different mobiles(linux based OS) and it works!
For PC & laptop I disabled the firewall & antivirus but still didn't solve the problem.

Please could anyone throw some light on this issue

Adsl modem +wifi router landline based
3g for cellphone Usb 3gmodem for desktop/laptop etc.

i can login using IE9 & FF7 on windows 7 but page only show the same error you mentioned(1002)but there is a logout button present so i am guessing site is under maintenance.

No error. Page opens normally.
Only option was to change Password.
and asking to download motive software. etc.

Yes this site is useful only for changing the service password & downloading firmware. Users on 117.xyz... IP network can change password only thru this site and so can't ignore it as well.
As far as I am able to use this site thru some means mobile or pc its fine

Each BB user is assigned a service ID xxxxxxxxxx@bsnl.in
I am referring to the service password the default password being password itself.

I am not referring to the portal user id & portal password.

I am not aware of self care portal. Could you please throw some light on using this site.

I accessed the mutlplay bsnl website from my PC using IE, FF & Chrome. Getting the same old error message. But works from my mobile phone thru WiFi.

Since you are in Chennai SSA, your usage portal is
BSNL Portal
Ask your Exchange for a 14 digit alphanumeric usage portalID
and default PW password.

Example mine abc12315112010 @ bsnl.in
( first 6 ID last 8 dd/mm/yy BB connection given)
