Thread: wifi problem with tp link TD-W8951ND

i have just bought tp link td-w8951nd wireless adsl2+modem router,it works through normal connection and i can connect other devices to it through wifi but i am unable to acess internet on it when ever i want to run it through other device it shows dns failed on my mobile ,can anyone plzz tell me which wifi configurations should i do for this modem...

to access net simultaneously on multiple devices modem must be configured in pppoe mode(username/password saved in modem itself & you get connected by just turning on the modem).refer your modem manual or search forum for pppoe configure.basic steps are same for all modems.

1. Explain what you mean by other device.

2. Post a screen shot of modem menu.

3. Mention your mode of connection, PPPoE or Dialer ?

Deactivate MAC filter.

other devices mean i only tried to use it on my cell samsung wave and i have dialer connection

Change over to PPPoE Instead of 1483 Bridged
Enter your user Id/pw
Enable DHCP
SAVE REBOOT
Check Status device info.. ( for PVC selected )

thank u very much it works and i jst wna ask u dat my setting were same when i did earlier den aftr ur advise i just disable IGMP snoop and i want to know what it means and again thanks a lot

one more thing i want to know about my router that i am using tp link td-w8951nd wireless adsl2+modem router and wifi is running well but i am not getting the better speed which i was expected and i just want to know is there any way to boost wifi speed and i am not even getting better signals through it.

my tariff plan is bsnl 750 unlimited and the link you gave me i used it and it shows 40kb\s for downloading and 20 kb\s for upload but m not happy with that speed
