    Default Problem accessing site

    I`m wi-max broadband user of bsnl...i use superantispyware(anti-spyware program) its site is working properly but from my network superantispyware.com is`t working...i checked everything eg host etc and tried it on multiple pc`s from my wimax bsnl connection but result is same.. unable to open superantispyware.com .. now wanna ask is this site is blocked by bsnl isp????

    I was not able to visit SUPERAntiSpyware.com | Remove Malware | Remove Spyware - AntiMalware, AntiSpyware, AntiAdware! via BSNL but when I used Reliance Netconnect+, I could open the site.

    But I seriously doubt whether BSNL is blocking the site. They do not generally block sites unless issued a dicktat from the govt/court. The problem may be with their DNS. Try changing to Google DNS or Open DNS - the setting should be set in your router. Retry.

    thanks for the reply..
    i just used google dns but the problem is still there,,,could not open...but with bsnl 3g connection...site opens without any problem.. and via broadband dunno where the problem is...

    yeah opera turbo working because it uses opera servers, even proxy server is another alternative but the question is why BSNL BB doesn`t make direct link to the site ? where the problem is?

    traceroute is indicating no further traffic after this IP 74.55.252.70 & i am guessing it is blocking 117.x.x.x IP range because of some security problem.it already happened in past(rapidshare under attack)& even today many IP query sites list various 117.x.x.x IPs as spam/botnet affected.
    Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

    Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

    FireFox 7.01. and Google report this website as attack site and malicious web site.

    Firefox can't find the server at www.comantispyware.com.

    Actually clicked the link in Post 11, and could have been a misdirection.

    tracert done earlier.see annexure.

    It was presumed you were interested in downloading this application, and some additional effort was made to find a reliable link CNET was given.

    @ aarif,

    Post the same request in Airtel section too. And if they are able to open, it may be that superantispyware treating BSNL IPs as unsafe. If you check most IP listing directories, 117.xx IPs are mostly blacklisted and many foreign sites even do not allow access or ask to prove you are a bot or not. The main reason is all those dirty work like spamming, link SEO etc are done by Indian freelancers whose use BSNL connection.

    BSNL never blocks any IP even if it is malicious simply because they do not have the expertise or commitment to do that.

    Have you done a traceroute of the said domain? Then you will understand where the packets are getting truncated ..

    from Airtel BB, it is accessible, so the issue with BSNL IP.
