I have a Type 2 ADSL-2 Nokia Siemens Modem. The Wifi network was working some fine a while ago. But after a while the wifi network stopped detecting. All the configurations are fine and are according to the BSNL standards but still there is no response. Please help in this matter.
And please also advice about the best encryption methods.

Try the settings as given in this link ( menu pages should be same )
use SSID security code as given.

How many machines do you use ? Do you get disconnected in both desktop and laptop or just laptop ?

All the configurations are fine and are according to the BSNL standards but still there is no response. Please help in this matter.

How do you reconnect to net / WiFi ? Do you have to restart the modem ?

And please also advice about the best encryption methods.

WPA2 will be fine.
