    Angry Modem stopped working after plan change

    I use ZTE ZXDSL modem. I applied for plan change from BBG FN COMBO 500 to RURAL COMBO 500 ULD Plan through udaan. The lead status shows completed on October 31. Now, from November 1, the modem stopped working completely. There are no lights, No power light too. Its totally dead. Please help

    There is absolutely no relation in between the two other than some weird coincidence.

    Please verify whether the modem is in working condition / test your connection with another working modem.

    check with ur adapter and also check electric sockets, i sense some short connections.

    Plan change has nothing to do with it. It can be due to

    1. Dead modem

    2. Power adapter failure.

    3. Power cable not plugged in properly.

    Check if there is power at the end of the line. Or if possible, get a spare power adapter (make sure you are using the one with same rating) and check. If it is power adapter issue, get a new power adapter from a local shop.

    It may also cause if the power cable is having loose contact and not plugged in properly. Make sure it is plugged in properly and check.

    You can simply take the modem to exchange and get it checked. You can get a replacement if it is within warranty.

    Nothing, other than buying a new modem.
