Default I cant connect to wifi

hello there... i have a Teracom T2-B-Gawv1.4U10Y-BI modem and i recently bought a sony ericsson xperia arc and have been trying to connect to my wifi. i have enabled wireless in the virtual server (i have done nothing else other than enabling wifi on the virtual server). when i scan for wifi networks from my xperia it finds the network but every time i click connect it keeps showing disconnected and starts scanning. this process continues till i turn off wifi on my mobile, can you help me config my modem.(screen shots would be great).

    thank you in advance.

Current IP Check This will change.
Are you getting the SSID as entered in Modem /router wifi page
in your laptop or smart phone ?
    Select Channel 11 or 6.
    Enable UpnP button if seen.
What security key you selected ? Try without any security key .
Ensure MAC address filter( white list ) is disabled

Like LAN Network you have to create a WIREless Network.
and check without LAN RJ45 cable wifi is working.
    Mention the OS you use.

Hi. Did you manage to solve the problem?
I have the exact same problem with my home Wi-Fi. I can access internet at my work Wi-Fi, but I can not do it at home. Besides having different routers at work and at home (as far as I know their configurations are the same), at home I'm using Windows 7 and at work XP Pro. And I have an Xperia X1 with Windows Mobile 6.1. which connects to the router, and get an IP from the DHCP, but no access at all to the internet.
If you solved the internet access problem, please let me know.
