Among the settings, search for the tab where you can change the ADSL modulation. Try setting it to G.DMT. Hopefully, there should be an increase in the upstream / downstream values.

    How is my line
    hxxp://postimage.org/image/qx8k0v1y3/

    I get 200-220 in idm (usually 210+)
and usually 170-190 in utorrent sometimes as low as 150. Not sure if its bsnl throttling bittorent 'cause I've seen 205-210 is ubuntu torrents. So maybe i just download slow seeded torrents.

The SNR value must be high while the value for the attenuation should be lower.

SNR stands for signal to noise ratio - if this value is higher it means the incoming signal (from the exchange) is greater than the noise (that is present inherently in the telephone line).

Think of attenuation as a form of resistance to the free flow of the ADSL signals through the telephone line. The higher this value is, the problematic the ADSL connection's stability is going to be.

Really wonder why there is no night unlimited in UL 750. We pay around Rs. 900 per month and have to live with a very moderate speed.

Yes, they should offer download speed of 2 Mbps at night(Say 12 am-6am) as like in MTNL there is an unlimited plan "Freedom 800" which offers download speed of 2Mbps between 11 pm-8am & 512 Kbps between 8 am-11 pm.
