Thread: to connect internet via wifi in bsnl modem

hi all,
i am using bsnl modem with wifi option
modem type: ADSL2+ CPE/IAD
model:AN-1020-21
how to configure the modem so that i can browse the net through Samsung Galaxy POP mobile.
its getting connected but i cant browse the net....

The connect parameter will be same for wifi except the wifi protocol (there may be some difference). As the mobile you specified may have different type of setting up. I have no problem in connecting my nokia c7 with my bsnl connection.

But I am not able to understand how you know that it is getting connected if you are not able to browse. As per my understanding there may be a message that it is connected. But you are not able to browse the net. It may not be connected at all. Try the station information from your modem page using the PC if actually the mobile is connected or not.

please first ensure that you are in PPPoE mode, if you are in PPPoE mode then check for DHCP settings and check whether the modem/router is assigning proper address to its clients or not(by connecting different machines to your modem)

I have modem throught this modem i am able to connect the internet to my desk using cable, But i have D-link WBR1310 router,So i would like to use Wifi also using this router Can any one help me on this Bcoz i am new to all this things
