Thread: Yahoo Linkedin not opening

I m using beetel 450 TC1[firmware 20] router ( has came with Airtel connection) with BSNL connection everything is working fine except for the fact that some sites like yahoo, linkedin are not opening. I had already tried with the changed DNS settings (changed to open dns) but nothing worked so far.Please help!

1. Mention the DNS values you are using ? What error do you get for these sites ?

2. Which proxy did you use ?

3. Try Opera Turbo and check.

4. Try different MTU values ranging from 1482 and check.

Incorrect MTU values (1500 and below) will perhaps slow down browsing/downloading/uploading. But should not affect websites like Yahoo and LinkedIn which have many servers and heavy bandwidth available to them.

Check MSS value also 1360 or default 0. 1492
in the modem.

tcp/ip optimizer from speedguide.net.
try default values/optimal values.
