Default Home 750 UL wifi problem Plz Help

Previously I have 500 night unlimited plan and BSNL type 2 wifi modem. I use bridge mode usually but occasionally i changed to PPOE mode for wifi internet for my mobile and laptop.......everything is working fine until I change my plan to HOME UL 750 Unlimited. Now in PPOE mode I can only access google search, gmail and few website. Downloading, software update, other website not working

But bridge mode is working fine

    1. Mention modem - model and make.

    2. Which OS do you use in laptop ?

    3. Is this issue limited to WiFi ? Does it work fine on ethernet cable ?

    4. Facing on all systems ?

    5. Try Turbo mode in Opera browser and check.

    6. Try different MTU values starting from 1480 and check.

6.Don't have enough knowledge about all the settings of bsnl modem

    Log in to modem by

    a. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

    b. Enter ID and password as admin.

    c. Edit the 0/35 entry (most in WAN from Left hand side menu) > Browse through the pages > You will find option to change MTU

Try 1492, save settings and check. If still facing problems, try additions of 10 from 1480. Keep trying till it works for you.

Yes, change it to a value that is working for you. If you are worried, take a backup of the current settings from the modem LHS menu (mostly the last one).

    This may help
