    Default 5 pair cable

Does BSNL provides broadband connection with 5 pair cable? I am a BSNL subscriber but my connection from DP box to my home is of copper wire. Please inform me about the facts about 5 pair cable.

It is like that for all of us. Unless you use an FTTH connection, no matter what is the promised speed of your plan subscribed, it will be a copper cable. Mind sharing what you are trying to achieve ?

ADSL, at least as most of us know it (and including my experience in UK as well as in India) was developed to work over copper. Before that, "Broadband" meant expensive leased lines over fibre.
