Default Issues with Linksys WAG120N .

    Hi ,

I have recently bought a linksys wag120N , setup with up BSNL pppoe mode /wpa encryption/NON DHCP mode/ . Issue is that after sometime the pages dont load and i get a conn timeout in loading the pages . looks like a issue with the wireless signal (have set it up for channel no 11) . On rebooting the router the router works ok (have not really kept it on for a long time after a reboot to see whether the issue comes up again) .
    1) have tried changing the encryption from WAP to WPA2 and back again
    2) Tried repairing the network in XP when the issue comes up

none of the above works (except rebooting)

    any thoughts on this
    1) is this a firmware issue . any ideas on the latest wga120N firmware version?
    2) has anyone faced issues like this ?
    3) will changing to bridge mode help ?

    any help is appreciated .

(a)First check with the bridge mode and see if any good effect.
    Emulator:
    '+vbasic+'
    (b)Change mod mode to GDMT
(c)In wireless page select Mode G only.

    (d)Check Wlan card settings
    (e) copy/paste or attach as annexure *.doc
    Only WLAN data ipconfig /all

    Feedback item wise.

    Hi ,

Thanks all for your help .

I have changed the mode from mixed mode to b/g and looks like the situation has improved . looks like there is a issue with the N mode in the router . I will flash the latest firmware and then check it out .

all in all its a pretty good router and a good value for money.
