    Default Cant configure airtel modem for bsnl

    I am having binatone wifi modem provided by airtel... i applied for bsnl and got username and password yesterday... i reset the modem and configured tcp/ip with ip address, gateway, subnet, dns... but i cant open 192.168.1.1 page... it is saying that the problem is with internet connection... can anyone please help me...

    1. Which mode are you using ? PPPoE or Bridge ?

    2. Mention the exact error message you get while trying to connect.

    3. Mention modem model no.

    4. In the modem menu page, create 0/35 instead of 0/32 (I think that is the value for Airtel, check and confirm). All other settings are same for BSNL and Airtel.

    i cant open the modem menu page....

    1. i dont know what i am using...
    2. cant connect to network error...
    3. DT 845W

    i reset the modem ..........but i cant open 192.168.1.1 page.
    RESET Again and try. wifi later. Select PVC2 VPI/VCI 0 and 35.
    Deactivate all other PVC's.

    Start RUN type cmd Ok
    New window
    Type ipconfig /all
    Check the default Gateway for modem.
    usually
    192.168.1.10 ( Ip address of computer)
    255.255.255.0 ( subnet )
    192.168.1.1 ( modem gateway)

    I cant open modem menu..

    Use there values in the TCP/IP properties of your network adapter and check.

    IP - 192.168.1.2

    subnet mask - 255.255.255.0

    gateway - 192.168.1.1

    for ip address i tried different values like...

    192.162.1.2, 192.168.1.58......... so on

    Try obtain IP address automatically and check.

    Give ipconfig/all details as mentioned above.

    i did... when i enter ipconfig/all under wireless network connectkon there is no details about ip or gateway....

    since i am from mobile i cant paste ...

    i dont have ethernet cable so iam trying to connect via wifi...

    today i went to bsnl exchange... they work in my modem for 2 hours but no help..

    please anyone.help me...

    Better try with ethernet cable and check.
