    Question Login Requirement - Workaround?

    Hi All,

I have a bsnl broadband connection that i recently subscribed to. There is this small thing which annoys me a bit. Every time i start my computer, i need to goto the modem/router admin console and key in my BSNL credentials to be able to access the internet.

Once i restart my computer or modem, i need to repeat this exercise as the default value in the router admin page gets reset to guest.

How do i permanently set to remember my credentials? I need my computer to be able to connect to the internet as soon as it restarts or boots up. No user name, no passwords... i need a always on connection.

    Please help.

    Thanks

^ you should have given the modem make and number
so that someone could help with your problem .

your credentials should be saved in the modem so that
you can have always on connection . after entering the
details in the modem's console , search for save option
(most probably under the tools menu in modem) and
click on it to save and restart the modem .

    Hi.

I use the same UT300R2U modem in bridge mode and use XP dialler. Although it is working fine for me and am getting upto 200 KBps on Utorrent, i have one probelm.

Sometimes, the modem is switched on and when i dial, there is an error in dialling. So when i go the admin page of the modem, the user name and password will be changed to "multiplay". I have to change it and reboot modem to connect.
