    Default bsnl selfcare login problem

    hello , i registered at http://selfcare.edc.bsnl.co.in/selfcare/ to check my usage details. on the first day of registration i was able to log in and check my usage but after a month or so i tried log in but unfortunately i forgot my username and password. i recovered my password using the forgot password option and the username was written on a doc i saved on the first day but i am not not able to log in. it says password is incorrect but it was given to me by the forgot password option. i tried calling customer care at 1500 but they cant help me. is there any other way to recover my account. i tried registering but it say customer id already exist. btw i didnt receive any emails from bsnl about my username and password.

    Welcome to Indianbroadband.net.

    Now you have pre empted any response from other members.
    Usually, many new members do not update or give feedback, if their
    system/broadband problems are solved.

    @free has not responded for almost two months here.
    Click the USERCP on top and try to send a PM ( personal message )
    to him/her.

    Still no reply/response you may try the Forgot PW option !!!

    Hope your exchange may call you, to give your Password.

    Sorry, i havnt solved it yet.... still wondering how to.

    Oops!! Sorry for the delay... I have no solution to it till now. went to the exchange still no help. btw i havent replied for two months cause no one replied too.. what was i suppose to do? reply to myself??:P

    It is presumed, , if the thread starter, does not follow up with feedback if any, he/she has solved the problem.

    @Admin did not agree to my suggestion to lock threads , in which there is no response for a month or two , either from the thread starter or others. and even if the problem is not solved.

    In this case if this thread was locked , a new member will refer this link and restate his/her problem .
    There are cases where with 60 odd posts , a new member says" I have the same problem !!!"
    Easy to type a sms type single line !!

    @as moderator in some other forum/s , I lock the old threads , if revived.

    You can try the same suggestion given by me. to @sharanya

    thread closed then!! No solution. will update if the Bsnl people help me.. they said they will figure a way but its been 1 1/2 months and i 'm fed up of reminding them.

    Try this option again. Forgot your Password ?
    ( You know the USERNAME you selected , I presume )

    I tried a random name and was directed to the webpage
    asking for Customer number AND EMAIL ADDRESS.


    Register again with a new ID. What error message you get ?
    Here it says you need a secret question and answer to CHANGE PW.

    i did that... but registering again with a new id is not possible because the customer ID is already used.and the passsword given by the website is not working.

    will update when i get reply from bsnl. i have filled up the complain form and am waiting for BSNL CC to reply.

    sad no reply for the online complain till date. no help from the customer care too.
