    Exclamation Plan Change

    Hi everyone.. I changed my broadband plan from ULD700 to ULD1350 through the Chennai Telephones customer care website .

    1.Whether this plan change will come into effect next month automatically or do i hav to visit the SDE of my exchange for the plan to change?

    2.Do i need to pay the deposit before next month(December) or it will be included in this month's(November) bill?

    Mostly in 2 days and if lucky in 24 hours. Have you applied through your account ? If no, you may need to verify that request is genuine. Mostly they will confirm this through telephone, no need to visit the exchange.

    2.Do i need to pay the deposit before next month(December) or it will be included in this month's(November) bill?

    You need to pay in next bill or to be precise, the first bill after plan change.

    Also corrected my Address as it appears on Bill.

    2. As Chennai circle user ;
    You should get a 14 digit UsageportalID PW default Password
    from Broadband section of your Exchange.
    and log in data.bsnl.in Example abc12315112010 @ bsnl.in
    The last eight numerals the date you got the BB connection.

    3.
    Also an email id example abcd_4567 @ bsnl.in PW default password
    the last 4 digits of your phone number.

    In that case, either wait for their call or give a ring to the broadband section and use the reg. no as reference.
